Another line that I have been hoping to have occasion to use, though it requires the presence of a Stooge aficionado to be appreciated; to be uttered upon arriving at a place for which one has been searching:

"Well, as there's no other place around the place, I reckon this must be the place—I reckon! Nyuk nyuk nyuk nyuk!" (Uncivil Warriors and one other short, I don't recall which).

Friend:  "Hey, Signor Spumoni, hand me those tools."
Myself:  "Tools?  What tools?"  If I'm lucky, the friend knows the next line, "The tools we've been using for the last ten years."  Then I say, "Oh, those tools!"  If not, I supply both lines.

When you hand something to someone to read and they have difficulty focusing their eyes on it: "Oh, short eyeballs, eh?" (Micro Phonies).

I usually say, "Ma-ha?" to allude to that routine where Curly wears thick eyeglasses but still can't see ("Three Little Pirates," "Time Out For Rhythm").

That other one would be We Want Our Mummy....also, Larry and Moe do a similar rendition in Uncivil War Birds as well.
If there's no other place around the place, I reckon this must be the place, I reckon.

This isn't a Stooges line used in everyday life, but it shows the influence of Stooges in everyday speech.  I was reminded of this by the time of year it is.

I attended a Christian [we were also Christian, but we weren't the same denomination as the school was] school where we learned about the birth of Jesus and who all the "major players" were.  I went home and taught my brothers, who were all much too young for school.  Our mother had decorated the house with plastic window decorations depicting the manger scene, the Wise Men, the shepherds, the angels and so on.  I pointed to each scene and told my brothers who the people were.  Our mother walked in.  My middle brother was excited to have learned this, and he did as I did, pointing to each window scene and naming everyone for our mother.  "And these," he said as he pointed to the Magi, "are the Three Wise Guys."   [3stooges]  That's probably why Christmas was never quite the same for me after that, because of the image in my mind.

From Bart's Comet:

Skinner: . . . You don't need a telescope to enjoy astronomy, Bart. There are all the constellations you've heard so much about. There's Orion, the Swan, the Chariot Race. . . .

Bart: Why don't they look anything like their names?

Skinner: Well, you do have to use your imagination. Look, there's the Three Wise Men!

The "Why Sointenly" line is my most vocal, but there are many others that creep up in my school cafeteria career. In these instances I MUST preface my comment with "If I were Moe and Larry" or "If Moe was to say to" ... I would then hit them with my full Stooge blurb ... "Every time you think, you weaken the nation" or "You're pretty smart for an Imbecile." You gotta be ticklish with this stuff if you wanna keep your job at a high school ... even the "almost as smart as an imbecile" remark can get you quarantined for life
The tacks won't come out! Well, they went in ... maybe they're income tacks.
