The fact that today's Stooges Episode Pick is "We Want Our Mummy" and that I saw this in the newspaper this morning, well, it's got to be a "co-inky-dink:"

My best friend— we've known each other since high school and I don't want to say how long ago that was— thinks this is the funniest single scene in any Stooges short. He just might be right; Larry's violin bow lifting the "rug" off the D.A.'s head is classic just on its own, not to mention everything that follows!

We're both sport shooters, so Moe's exclamation of "Wasted five good slugs!" never fails to crack us up... it sounds like it was ad-libbed, too.
