R.I.P. Stan Goldberg.

Stan was the artist on the recent (2012 - 2013) "Three Stooges" comic book series published by Papercutz. In 1985 Stan drew two "Three Stooges Coloring & Activity" books for Playmore/Waldman Publishers.
Mr. Goldberg was one of Marvel/Timely/Atlas’ top humor artists in the 1950s and 1960s, as well as Marvel’s main colorist during the 1960s… he created the color designs for characters Spider-Man, the Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, the Fantastic Four, more. Starting in the late 1960s he was one of the primary artists for Archie Comics, and had worked for that publisher into the 2000s.

I vaguely remember reading Goldberg's name in my Marvel period. I didn't know he was also doing the Archie's. Seeing those covers took me back, but I don't remember the Spiderman/Goblin unmasking issue....odd.
