Less than famous showbiz sibs

I knew vaguely of Sidney Chaplin but for the 1st time I saw one of his films on TCM today. It got me to wondering how many lesser showbiz siblings that I DON'T know about. I know plenty about Houdini and Hardeen and am familiar with George Saunders' acting brother but I know there must be many more.

How about adding to my short list, Bunion-heads?

Mostly a stuntman for Lou, but he did play bit parts, including Bela Lugosi's BOWERY AT MIDNIGHT.

Now that you mention it, I DO recall seeing the name. I guess I assumed Pat was his wife.

I came across this sister who is a very minor celeb in Australia. You can see I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel on this topic.

Here's one. George Young. He played for the Australian band The Easybeats and had a huge hit with "Friday on My Mind." He even had a good career as a producer afterwards, including some brothers of his. Not bad on his own merit.

Of course, when your younger brothers are below, you're less famous than they are.

This is Kevin Farley the younger. You may have spotted him in the forgettable Joe Dirt.

I first spotted Charlie Murphy in Harlem Nights. The resemblance was a no-doubter. Later he came to semi-prominence on Chappelle Show. The episode: "I'm Rick James, Bitch!" became an instant classic. Here's a short excerpt from the skit.

This is Alberto with his wife and son, who was actually the son of his not yet famous brother in a liaison with Alberto's fiancee. To his credit, Alberto married the woman anyway and was rewarded by large regular monthly checks when his little brother hit it big in Hollywood. Son Jean bears a strong resemblence to his biological dad.

When Valentino died, Alberto was persuaded by his former associates, most notably Natacha Rambova that he should start a film career to fill the huge void left by the world's greatest heart throb, and of course to also fill their pockets.

It was decided that a nose job would be needed to enhance the family resemblance. The 1st job did little. The 2nd job was botched. The 3rd job left him with a mess that only Micheal Jackson could love. That was it for Alberto. He quit the movies and underwent 4 more rhino's over the years to get his nose back. He died in the 70's.

Can anyone identify this actress/songbird from her appearance in Grease II? She's the sister of another actress/songbird of greater renown from a different father. (this one is prettier)

And for extra points can you name the mother of these twins from the same (lousy) movie? Mom has been a TV star for 3 decades, and also wears bangs.

The blonde is Lorna Luft. As for the twins, their late mother was Sara Zwilling, a writer/producer.

I don't know Sara, but the twins are related in some way to Katy Sagal. The article I read said that she was the mom, but BeA says sister, and I have no doubt he's right.

A few Katey Sagal tidbits.

I just listened to Gene Simmons 1978 solo album this past Sunday, and Katey Sagal did background vocals.

As a kid, unquestionably I liked Kelly Bundy better than Peg. These days, not so sure. Yes, I'm getting older.

LOL....I was conflicted. I wanted to nail them both. I wasn't watching the show's earlier seasons, but wasn't Pam Anderson on the show at one time?

I checked the link and I've never seen anything she did that was listed there, including being a wrestling "Farmers Daughter". I bet I can check out You Tube and pull up one of her matches. BTW, I remembered who she looked like in the photo: one of the chicks that replaced Suzanne Sommers in 3's a crowd.
