I have the opportunity to show films at a University theater.  It appears I could rent the films from http://www.swank.com/.  Im not sure if the admissions would be free or a cost.

My question would I also have to pay C3 Entertainment, Inc. or Comedy III Productions for use of the likeness's of the Stooges?

If you pay Swank for a blanket license, or pay them on a per show basis, you don't have to pay any other organization since Swank guarantees legal clearance. Looks like they have half a dozen prime shorts and a handful of late Columbia and early MGM features. If you are wondering about using the Stooges' images on posters and handbills, ask Swank if your license covers advertising materials.
