The people of Houston will probably be burning Matt Schaub in effigy after Sunday Night. 4 straight games with a pick six, what in the world.  :o

Of course, the most important thing in the NFL this week was the Eagles' victory over the Gnats.  Man, it was so quiet at work today -- and no one even wore Giants' jerseys (or Jiants' gerseys) on Friday, either.  And that team is still only 2 games out of first place, 3 in tiebreakers for the division lead, and despite being 0-5, Tom Coughlin still has a job, unlike Peter Laviolette, let go as the Flyers' coach after an 0-3 start, due to a roster put together by Paul "Ruin Today Sr." Holmgren.

Offline Shemp_Diesel

Unbelievable that the Eagles (or is it Iggles) are in first place in the NFC LEAST. This might be another year where a 7-9 record could actually win a division, I bet Roger Goodell would love that.

Speaking of the Giants, here's an article that sums it up pretty well:

Also, I just looked at the score for tonight's game, and it looks like the Jets are leading the Falcons.

What's real anymore?  ;D

If there's no other place around the place, I reckon this must be the place, I reckon.

Offline Shemp_Diesel

Yeah, between the Falcons tonight & the Raiders hammering the Chargers Sunday, you don't know who you can trust anymore. I'm sure the bookies love it.   :D

The wackiness of the NFL continues as the Rams are completely waxing the Texans in Houston. This might cost Matt Schaub his job.

I won't be winning any confidence pool this week, my picks are in shambles.

Well, although I'm not exactly pleased with the final result, that was a hell of a finish to the Saints/Patriots game. Whew!

It was damn good game to watch. I learned a long time ago to never count Brady out till the clock says 0.

The New York Jets just shook up the world....

It looks as if  "defense" was a dirty word in Bears camp this year.

Not really; the Red Sox won the pennant and that takes the sting out of the Pats losing to the Jets.

I'm not really shocked, the Patriots have a few flaws. I'm more disappointed because I really don't like the Jets. (especially Rex Ryan).

The D is decimated right now, and that's what carried us through the first six games. Yeah, Rex Ryan is a piece of shit who is probably treating this week 7 win like it's the Super Bowl. That individual has no class at all.

Don't forget about Broncos vs Colts last night.

I guess you could say Peyton Manning met with tough Luck.

I'm really ashamed to be a Steelers fan right now.  :-\ As soon as I saw Pryor break off that 93 yard run I knew it would be a long day.

And the Redskins appear to be on the verge of shocking the world. 21-7 over the Broncos as I type. Could it really be possible that the Chiefs win that division????   :o

That old cliche "any given Sunday" lives on in the form of the Saints/Jets game. Who would have thought it after the pounding the Jets got last week from Cincinnati. Thank goodness I don't bet actual money on these games.   ???

Jets & Saints game cost me 7 points on a confidence pool. Hopefully everyone else had the Saints. I do bet actual money. [cry]

Just when you think the NFL can't get any screwier, the Bucs are leading the Seahawks at halftime.

Looks like the Pats are set to run Pittsburgh off the field. Can't say I'm surprised, these are not my father's Steelers...
