If anyone is interested, I have begun a blog dedicated to all the "lost" players from the Stooge films. The first entry is Norma Randall, the most prominent missing player.

Check it out: http://stoogesplayers.blogspot.com/

That's pretty cool, Ryan - and a good first article.  I'll add a link on the forum home page for your blog.   ;)

Not bad, Ryan; you've got some writing chops. The article I read (Allyn Drake) had a nice, steady flow and easily kept my interest.

I agree - it was well written and held my interest throughout.  Keep up the good work!  [thumbsup]

I've added a link to the blog under "Home -> Recommended Sites" on the site menu at the top of the pages, too.

I agree too - good job!
Let's hope your efforts generate some results in locating these lost players. (I like how you wrote Someone out there knows...)

Thanks for all the kind words! I'll try to keep it going. Even if it leads to only one being found, it's worth it.

Along the way, we have solved quite a few searches for lost supporting players.

Here's one with a happy ending:

You are doing an awesome job on that blog, Ryan!  That was a fascinating article on Buddy Bueler.  [thumbsup]

Keep up the good work!   [pie]

Hoi Polloi is one of the best Three Stooges shorts. Read about one of the party guests from that short.... she was on our lost players list until last year.

A long-standing cast error in Three Little Beers (1935) has been identified and corrected.

Thanks for this and the Jean Spangler post. Very interesting.

Christine McIntyre passed away 29 years ago today. So what better time than to revisit supporting player researcher Bill Cappello's search for her back in the 1970's?

Thanks for linking to that article. I myself had always wondered if there was any information about her after she retired from acting and was shocked to actually see a photo of her from the 70s. I realize the article was written nearly 20 years ago but it was a great read.

Really nice job, Ryan.  Was it you who contacted him?  Anyway, I especially enjoyed the bit about Besser being "second director."  Good stuff.
