When watching old flicks I closely watch for familiar faces and names in the credits. The more obscure, the more I'm tickled, like a nerdy bird watcher. I caught Ryan O'Neal on Dobie Gillis, where he had only one line, a few weeks back.
But tonite I spotted Barb Billingsly in a dog called "The Careless Years" from 1957 with a teenage Dean Stockwell. (I had never seen her in ANYTHING save as a geez in "Airplane") She played a housewife wearing that same goddam pearl necklace like on the Beaver! I don't know if this appearance got her the Cleaver part or viva versa.
