British/Czech stage and film actor Herbert Lom has died at age 95.  A long list of credits, but he'll always be recognized as the mentally deteriorating 'Inspector Dreyfus' in Blake Edwards' "The Pink Panther" series.

I just watched The Pink Panther Strikes Back yesterday.  It's not one of my favorites, but it was just starting and Herbert Lom is so funny in it that I left it on.  (My favorite Pink Panther movie is A Shot in the Dark, thanks mainly to Lom's performance.  His descent into madness over Inspector Clouseau's bungling just cracks me up.)

I know him best from the Hammer PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, he was quite good in it.  I think I need to see that COUNT DRACULA movie Brent posted!  He lived a good long life, but may he rest in peace.
