Ed Watz, co-author of the great COLUMBIA COMEDY SHORTS book, recently posted a color candid from PARDON MY CLUTCH over at the Silent Comedy Mafia site.

According to Watz' post, it was taken by Edward Bernds on the Columbia Ranch in Burbank in 1947. CLUTCH was filmed in May of that year.

I prefer Wham-Bam-Slam! to Pardon My Clutch but it's interesting to see what the colors of their sweaters were in real life.

I thought I was the only one who preferred the remake. Only about 5 Shemp shorts are rated lower on here than WHAM BAM SLAM. But the kitchen scenes in the remake are the difference for me.
