sooo after this round we ll have 5 left? I think the bottom 8 shoulda been taken out that way wed have a nice even 32 short tournament...but we all know the Music Box/Helpmates winner is gonna take it all anyway. Im rooting for Helpmates...love that short
While it's true there are some Laurel and Hardy shorts which are more popular than others, there's not quite Besser shorts and Shemp remakes in their Roach 40 either, so I think having all 40 is justified even if we have to have a final five.
But hey, the winner of that final five will really have to earn it, because we're all going to rank them in order and base it on a points system. I'm looking forward to the finals.
Yeah, count me as one of the ones who loves HELPMATES arguably the best, but THEM THAR HILLS and TIT FOR TAT are also favorites of mine, and though it's eliminated, I'm a big BELOW ZERO fan as well, it's the bass player in me. If I had to make a prediction, I say THE MUSIC BOX wins, and that's a great short too, but we shall see.
