"OR, Does This Lawsuit Come With a Tie?"

I've got an old "Just Say Moe" T-shirt trademarked 1984 or so by "Norman Maurer Productions". Everynig else more recent bears the mark of Comedy 3/Columbia Pictures instead. No surprise there, right?

But this Christmas I got a Moe, Larry, & Curly Necktie with a tag that reads:
"1992 Norman Maurer Productions, Inc./ColumbiaPictures Industries, Inc."
The tie was still MIB/new condition. So, did a miss a lawsuit chapter or what?
