Image Entertainment quietly re-released its "Slapstick Encyclopedia" 5-disc set in September 2012.  Originally released thru Kino as 8 VHS tapes in 1998 and a 5-DVD set in 2002, it's now a repackaged 5-DVD set thru Madacy. *  Nicely priced for 18+ hours of 1909 - 1920s silent comedy material, I saw it at Costco a few days ago @ $12; Amazon (@ today) has it on sale for $10.

I have this set, and it's absolutely mandatory for anyone into silent comedy.
