Well, being a vague completist, I just realised that after reading that list of contents I don't have:

14.  Chapter 14 [4:22] 

or

24.  Chapter 24 [4:22]

But, 17.  Chapter 17 [4:21]  looks remarkably similar to 24.  Chapter 24 [4:22], so I dunno. I'll have to check it out!

It is a fair warning to those who might purchase this in the latest string of cookie-cutter, budget Stooge releases. I agree. Avoid it!

I agree.  Avoid it.  With the Three Stooges cartoons coming out soon, there will soon be no need for all those "budget" DVD's that have them on it.  We will soon have the real thing.

And, if we stick with it, we will eventually have the real deal on everything.  Which is very cool!

I saw this box at Target as well and held off on it until I could come here and find out just what's really on it. Looks like it's worth skipping.

So what's really on it? Best I can "translate" from the chapter listing is -- on DVD 1, the four public domain shorts and the Abbott & Costello feature Africa Screams; on the second disc Swing Parade Of 1946 and Kook's Tour, and three discs of The New 3 Stooges (DVDs 4-5-6).

So then what about the "extra material" on DVD 2? I'm guessing nothing that's not lifted from some other already-existing public domain collection, but can anyone verify?

This company also has released a similar Laurel & Hardy set, which also does not list all the contents. I am assuming it's not worth getting. But can anyone confirm what's on it?
