Well today we get a game for the ages between 49ers and Saints as well as a New England ass stomping. Tebow can have Jesus and the rest of the Super Best Friends on his side and it wouldn't matter against Brady and the rest of the Pats!

Well, I guess it's not too early to call this one. Down goes Tebow, Down goes Tebow!!

At least for the next 7 months or so, we can say "No 'Mo Tebow!"   [pie]

Patriots/Ravens will be a great matchup. These are definitely the two best teams in the AFC. If the Packers beat the Giants it will be the first time all of the home teams win in the first and second rounds since the 12 team playoff format began.

I think it's safe to call this one for the Giants. Both the Giants and 49ers have similar styles so it should be an interesting game. I'm going to go with Patriots vs 49ers in the Super Bowl.

I hope the Patriots beat the hell out of the Ravens. They cost me by not covering the spread. Watching the Pack getting smoked by the Giants now. Didn't see that coming.

Yeap, 49ers vs Giants should be a great game. 49ers been playing solid ball all year and the Giants are peaking at the right time.

Never in a million years would I have thought this Giants team would somehow suddenly gel and get to the conference title game.

It's very similar to the 2007 team, but the 49ers are no push over and if they get by them they'll either get a elite offense or elite defense from the AFC. This is most definitely wide open.

So far, nary a surprise to me in the postseason.  I watched all of two (2) plays, both by Green Bay right after the usual commercial time (about half of all NFL broadcasts), and that's been it.  I won't be up for the Giants' obvious win in S.F., nor for their S.B. win over N.E.  The only way the script would have the Giants lose is if I bet on them to win.  Can anyone lend me $10 till pay day?

Giants vs 49's: although the Giants seem to have 2007 mojo, I'm going to go with the Niners at home.
Ravens vs Patriots: the Patriots will probably win, but I'm going to go with the Ravens in an upset,
if Flacco can match Brady point-wise. The Ravens D knows their window of opportunity is closing
with their core players, and I think they might want it a little more.

I am by no means a Giants fan, but even if it were some other team I have grown tired of the cliche "Team X barely makes the playoffs only to pull themselves together and pull of a Super Bowl upset" deal. The Giants did it in 07, Packers did it last year...I'd rather see any of the other teams still in it win. The Patriots, Ravens and 49ers all have been elite teams all year, which is much more impressive to me than a 9-7 team going on a hot run.

Very few QB's can match Tom Brady point-wise and Joe Flacco is not one of them. If the Ravens win it will be because the D forces Brady to make too many errors.

I don't think the Patriots vs Ravens will be close. The Ravens showed me nothing against the Texans. The Ravens had a hard time beating a 3rd string QB. It might start out close for a while but I think eventually Brady will wear them out and pull away. My prediction....New England 34 - Baltimore 16

I believe the 49ers vs Giants will be a lot closer. I like both of the teams but Eli and the Giants seem to be coming together at just the right time. My prediction Giants 23 - 17

Yes sir.  I am rooting or the Ravens to make it all the way!

Oh my god. I Don't believe what I just saw. How did Cundiff miss that field goal?

New England is damn lucky to have gotten out of that game with a win. Evans should have caught the pass from Flacco to give Baltimore the lead (and likely the game) with 25 seconds left. And how fortunate for NE that Cundiff missed a 32 yarder, which usually wouldn't happen. I'd feel pretty fortunate tonight if I was a Patriots fan.

WAHHHHHHHH!

What an awesome game played by two awesome teams! 45-10 or 23-20 a win is a win and the New England Patriots are the AFC Champions!  That was an excellent, season saving play to prevent the TD at the end, and even I feel for Cundiff who obviously choked on the FG attempt. Great game, great win and now we'll see who plays the Pats in the Super Bowl.

Exciting game. A lot closer than I thought it would be. I feel bad for Cundiff. He'll be the goat for the rest of his life. Even if he would of made it, doesn't mean they were going to win for sure.

I thought the game was going to be close: The Ravens didn't have a 13-3 regular season record, beat the Steelers twice and get to the AFC Championship because they suck. At no point as a Pats fan before the game was I confident that they would win; the Ravens are a great football team.

I feel like whenever that happens, the opposing (aka enemy) team does it on purpose...oh well, exciting game nonetheless.  Go Pats!

Yeap, you called it. The Raven's played better than I thought they would and the Patriots were damn lucky to get a win out of that.

Wow, another unbelieveable ending to a game. Those 2 fumbles cost the 49ers a trip to the Super Bowl.
