Just re-releases here, but on 11/1/11, Warner/TCM are releasing another round of their Greatest Classic Film DVDs. One has the
first four THIN MAN films. Shemp had a cameo in ANOTHER THIN MAN, the third THIN MAN film. Another set has Astaire/Rogers films, one of which is FLYING DOWN TO RIO, which has BEER & PRETZELS as a bonus.
The only potential advantage to this THIN MAN set is that it would take up a lot less shelf space than the still-available THIN MAN box set from 2005. But the 2005 set had
ALL 6 films and a bonus documentary disc. That's still the one to get, though it'll cost you more.
The older DVD relase of FLYING DOWN TO RIO is OOP (though available from third parties).
