Topic: HAVE ROCKET WILL TRAVEL vs A&C GO TO MARS

Which film do you prefer? The Stooges' 50s space film, HAVE ROCKET WILL TRAVEL, or A&C's 50's space film, GO TO MARS?

I saw MARS for the first time today, and while A&C can be hit and miss with me, I liked this one a good amount.

It's been a while since I've seen either, but I remember thinking GO TO MARS was pretty funny and surreal.  That got my vote.

GO TO MARS was undoubtedly helped by those bathing beauties on Venus.

Dudley Dickerson also appears in that film. IMDB says Blystone and Jean Willes do as well, but I didn't catch them.

It got my vote as well. Unlike most of the other AC films I've seen (1944 and earlier), MARS wasn't dragged down by outside distractions.

Not to mention a lack of talking unicorns in GO TO MARS. I love the Stooges, but lets face it, that unicorn angle was just plain bad.

I haven't seen HRWT yet, I enjoyed A&C Go to Mars.  I wouldn't say it's A&C's best, but it is better than most of their early 40's films; most of which I think were dragged down by the romantic subplots and music numbers.
