Btw Metal, being a bass player yourself, do you have any appreciation for the song Ozone Baby? For me, the bass makes that entire song....
The ultimate John Paul Jones bass playing is in "The Lemon Song." He takes what could easily be simple 12 bar blues playing and makes it a major workout. My jaw always drops every time I hear it.
As far as "Ozone Baby," yes, that does have some good playing now that I think about it. I like the busy stuff he does on the chorus and the octave jumps he does in the verse. JPJ is an awesome player for sure.
