Anyone here a fan of Jean Harlow? I've seen her in a few things like PLATINUM BLONDE and RED HEADED WOMAN. I liked her much more in the latter.  WB has lumped four previous releases into one of those 4 film, double-sided TCM Greatest Films sets. I haven't seen any of the four -- LIBELED LADY, DINNER AT EIGHT, CHINA SEAS, and WIFE VS SECRETARY. Has anyone here seen those films? If so, worth a blind buy? They all seem well regarded, especially the first two.

Hopefully other ones I want to see, like RED DUST and BOMBSHELL, end up in the Warner Archive. March would be a great time for that -- the month she would have turned 100.

It's been a while since I've seen a Jean harlow film, but definitely check out BOMBSHELL.

I said something to the Warner Archive on Facebook about releasing Bombshell and others next month (Harlow's 100th) and got this:

"Work is still ongoing to honor Miss Harlow's 100th with some very welcome news. However, an announcement is still probably many weeks away."

We'll see. We've been waiting 8 months for the Vitaphones now.
