I'm a big fan!!! I have the classic 39 episodes and a whole mess of the lost episodes from Gleason's variety show.

This what gets me about the Honeymooners: Art Carney won 2 Emmys, and Gleason won NONE!

I know that Art won for supporting actor, but who in the world beat Jackie out for lead actor? Who was funnier than he? Berle? Skelton? Hope? Benny?

Jackie was a monster in the Honeymooners....was he in disfavor with Screne actors guild? Or something like that?
