Carlin was maybe the smartest comedian I ever saw....but his well known use of Cocaine greatly diminished his validity.

It's too bad, but like Lenny Bruce and about 10 other great comics he was a fucking junkie for years,,,now he is dead and that's a good thing! BTW, the last show I saw him do was so sad...his verbal skills were shot, his timing was off, but he still wanted to make that paper.

It was a disgrace. But he is not in Hell....there is NO hell....Hell for comedians is the "Comedy store".....imagine having to cow tow to Pauly Shore!
