Blake Edwards died earlier today in Santa Monica CA. He was 88.

Among his credits are BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S (1961), DAYS OF WINE AND ROSES (1962), 10 (1979), VICTOR / VICTORIA (1979), THE GREAT RACE (1965), the PETER GUNN television series, and of course, THE PINK PANTHER films which began in 1963. Edwards wrote the TV-movie THE MONK (1969), in which Joe Besser had a cameo.

He was married to actress Julie Andrews.

I just heard this on the news, such a same. A very talented man. Seems like alot of big celebrity's died this year.

Man, I didnt know Dino De Laurentiis died. Man he made some of my fav 80's action movies.
