Actress Barbara Billingsley has passed away at age 94. She is best known for portraying June Cleaver on the sitcom
Leave it to Beaver
. Other sitcoms she appeared on included

, and
The Donna Reed Show
. Billingsley was also the voice of Nanny on
Jim Henson's Muppet Babies

Wow it feels like my own mother passed away, I watched Leave It To Beaver my whole childhood, everyday after school.

I wonder who inherited that string of pearls June Cleaver always wore.
I agree, that scene with her in AIRPLANE was one of the funniest moments in that movie.

Barbara spoke one of the most controversial lines ever spoken on TV at the time:
"Ward, I think you were a little hard on the Beaver last night."
