5 Three Little Beers (No contest, I don't understand how Pullman won the last round)
18 An Ache in Every Stake (Who DOne It is good but slightly overrated, ACHE is a top 3)
7 They Stooge To Conga (Incredibly tough choice, but Conga is less played out because of it's non-PD status)
46 The Sitter-Downers (Another very tough choice)
11 Hoi Polloi (Nice to see Goof this far, but Hoi Polloi is a top 3 for me)

Agreed there. Same disbelief for me as Micro-phonies keeps up with You Nazty Spy. A uniquely satirical effort from Curly's peak years compared with a decidely average short from later when his illness was setting in. I know which one I prefer. Admittedly the miming (the scenes that fans generally cite as the highlight) was a clever way of disguising that Curly couldn't handle complex dialogue anymore, but I just don't find it particularly funny.

I agree. It's like the whole short is just based around Curly's miming the song. It wasn't completely unfunny, and it was great to have Christine McIntyre involved, but I just don't care for the short in general. Now I'm not a huge fan of "You Nazty Spy!" either, but I like it more than "Micro-Phonies." It was a much more creative short and like you say, from Curly's peak years.

RE: AN ACHE IN EVERY STAKE vs. WHO DONE IT?

-  Both have won past tourneys, so it's not like there's a lack of love for either.  ACHE is the superior short in my opinion, the stairs and and kitchen scenes are just too good to deny.  WHO DONE IT? is an enjoyable short for the most part, but I've never been a fan of the light/dark fight gag at the end and just think there are better Stooge shorts.  Without fail, whenever we get to the final 8 or 16 of these tourneys, WHO DONE IT and BRIDELESS GROOM are always the last two Shemps standing, and to that, I say you people really need to watch THREE DARK HORSES more.
