Hello, everybody, 'tis I.  The final thing I have to do now is determine the match-ups now that all the seeds are in place, but first, I thought I'd share with you all the shorts that will not be in the tournament.  Looking at this list, I can safely say we're not looking at any likely winners, but if you feel any of the shorts are being wrongfully left out, speak now or forever hold your peace.

Anyway, I'd like to say there's no way CUCKOO ON A CHOO is the worst Shemp short, that would be SELF MADE MAIDS.  CHOO CHOO is actually funny, and as good as THE THREE STOOGES SCRAPBOOK is, it did this short a great disservice by calling it the worst.

For all you guys who wanted that Besser short to enter so it can meet it's inevitable first round elimination (prove me wrong, folks); you've denied FIDDLER'S THREE the 128th spot.

Now, discuss this list.

Fiddler's Three
Flat Foot Stooges
Baby Sitters Jitters
Don't Throw That Knife
The Ghost Talks
Gypped in the Penthouse
Sock-A-Bye-Baby
Up in Daisy's Penthouse
A Gem of a Jam
Back to the Woods
The Yoke's On Me
Busy Buddies
Saved by the Belle
Three Loan Wolves
Restless Knights
Monkey Businessman
Merry Mavericks
A Bird in the Head
Self Made Maids
The Three Troubledoers
Cuckoo On A Choo Choo
Woman Haters
Uncivil War Birds
Rhythm and Weep
Beer Barrel Polecats

I agree with you, there are a few good shorts in the list. "Saved By The The Belle" has one of my favorite lines ( Singapore Joe... What kind of a fool do you take me for? Curly..Why, is there more than one kind?) But, none of them is in my list of favorites.

I'm not a huge SAVED BY THE BELLE fan, but I do like the line where Seniorita Rita refers to Curly as innocent, and Curly replies, "Oh, I don't know, I've been around."  Or something to that effect.  I think the first couple of Chase directed shorts are good, but after that, they really went downhill, minus a few good moments or two.

I agree, a few good shorts in this list, but none I would consider an all-time favorite.  Well.......I do like CUCKOO ON A CHOO CHOO a lot, but opinions are mixed on that one, and from experience, I don't think any of these shorts would make it past the first round with even halfway decent competition.
