While surfing Youtube, I found this cute video of a high school band performing a certain little ditty during a school football game. Check out the three guys who show up during the routine.  This clip appears to be from the 1983-84 school year.  Enjoy!

That was pretty cool!  It inspired me to dig out my copies of "The Curly Shuffle" and "Calling Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine, Dr. Howard" by the Finders to watch while I'm working.

I really enjoyed this!  What a great example of an old school marching band, and a pop culture phenomenon captured in 1983!  I bet that at least ONE of the three guys were drummers.

(Yinz' know I marched drum corps, and taught many high school marching bands).

I tried to find out where this school is from by looking at other YouTube videos, and watched a performance of theirs from 2008. They played a stock arrangement of 'In The Stone' that came out in probably 1980! I quit watching when the pom-pom chicks came out....
