The NY Post has the scoop on June 1's additions to The Warner Archive.

New classic comedy titles include:

 -  A 3-disc set with MGM's Red Skelton "Whistling" trilogy... WHISTLING IN THE DARK (1941), WHISTLING IN DIXIE (1942) and WHISTLING IN BROOKLYN (1943).

 -  4 Joe E. Brown comedies... GOING WILD (1930), SIT TIGHT (1931), THE TENDERFOOT (1932) and ALIBI IKE (1935); single discs, but Archive will [probably] also offer them as a discounted 4-pack.

I have never been big on Joe E. Brown films, although I might consider “Alibi Ike”, but definitely going for the Red Skelton "Whistling" trilogy.

From a Warner Brothers Archive e-mail:

Warner Archive Collection replies: DON'T DISMAY, SHEMP IS ON THE WAY – along with MOE, LARRY & CURLY! Shemp's WB shorts have been in the works for a long time, and is one of SEVERAL upcoming projects that fans Stooges can look forward to from the Warner Archive Collection!
