All due respect to the great Noel Neill, but Phyllis Coates was perfect in the role!

And yes, that is Ann Doran, the 'Duchess' from THREE SAPPY PEOPLE (1939).

Oddly enough, I have never watched this one. Never seen them play this Superman series on TV, other than Youtube which I don't view much.

I gotta say that Robin from the classic '60s Batman series was one of the best.  I also love Barney Fife from The Andy Griffith Show.  The first 5 seasons of that show are the absolute best.  After Barney left, the show went downhill.  The only thing good on the show after Barney left was Goober.  He was another good sidekick.  I liked that one episode where Goober did his impersonations (walking like Chester, etc.).  Great stuff!
