Finally got around to see that flick. The Stooge parts were good and most of the rest was mediocre at best... except Louis Jordan's riveting performance of "Caldonia." Ironically, we studied that song in my Rock n' Roll history course a couple weeks ago.

I've been huge Louis Jordan fan since I first heard Joe Jackson's "Jumpin' Jive" LP (back when I was in my rock 'n' roll days). I still love that Joe Jackson LP, but nothing beats the original. I've been able to find a bunch of Louis Jordan songs in my collection of music "fake books", and that stuff is really fun to play.
