Question...

Do you update the schedule periodically or just once a month?  I have noticed added shows around the 10th of the month..

It's updated any time new information becomes available.

The films of Joe E. Brown are an acquired taste. His WB comedies of the early-to-mid 1930s were top-10 box office earners, performing over The Marx Bros. and W. C. Fields. His films' popularity launched several of his leading ladies into stardom... Thelma Todd, Ginger Rogers, Joan Blondell and Olivia deHavilland.

But the decades have forgotten that, and he is now generally remembered for his character roles, 'Cap'n Andy' in SHOWBOAT (1951), 'Osgood Fielding' in SOME LIKE IT HOT (1959), and a cameo in IT'S A MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD WORLD (1963).

I recommend checking out TCM's 1930s tribute to Brown, Tuesday July 28, 6:45AM - 8PM.

Thanks for the heads-up, Brent!  I saw a couple of his shorts a few years ago and really enjoyed them.

This clip reminds me of the first time I saw Some Like it Hot. It was taped off of the TV in the mid-80s, and the tape ran out right before the greatest movie punch line in history!!!!
