According to GaryStooge, chief cook & bottle washer of our illustrious fan club:
"In yiddish, 'farblongent' basically means 'lost, bewildered or confused'."

I recall the line, "Yeah, he'll farblongent him" from FLING IN THE RING (a remake of Fright Night)

Is that the correct short, Thump?

Well, I was close. I found the line around 1:20 in this video---at least, the sound is; the picture comes a few seconds later.

The line is spoken by Larry, by the way. He makes the verb sound like "fairblunjah," with the second and third syllables rhyming with "plunger" (as pronounced with a New York accent).

Okay, new line: "You lummox! You want to give me birth marks?" (This is not the pertinent spelling of the second-to-last word, but the correct spelling would make the identification too easy.)

That is exactly right!

Alright, I got that one right, but Hugo jumped in & asked a new one. The answer to that one is A PAIN IN THE PULLMAN.

And here's my new one:
"Let's fight a drool"

It was only on a second or third viewing that I figured out that Moe meant "berth marks" rather than the homophone "birth marks." I thought that the line was supposed to be just a rather absurd exhibition of ignorance!

I didn't mean to act out of turn. I thought that the person answering the question was supposed to pose a new one along with his answer. Since you didn't, I posed one.

I don't know where "Let's fight a drool" comes from or who says it, though it sounds to me like a Larry line.

That's Moe in MERRY MAVERICKS.

I was going to ask where this pair of lines comes from, but I think you'll know the answer: "What does that 'apprehensive' mean?"---"It means you're scared, with a college education."

I can't believe it: I was just watching Stooge shorts on a DVD, heard Moe say that line, went to my computer to answer that question, and found that you had beaten me to it by about three minutes!
