MEET THE BARON (1933) is on DVD; a Warner Home Video double-feature disc with GOLD RAIDERS (1951).

Oh damn,  I didn't realize that!  I'll have to find a copy.  Thanks Brent.

Oh damn,  I didn't realize that!  I'll have to find a copy.  Thanks Brent.

If you also like Abbott & Costello and Laurel & Hardy, I would recommend the "Classic Comedy Teams Collection."  It's a 3 disc set that includes:

Disc 1:  "Meet The Baron"/"Gold Raiders" starring The Three Stooges

Disc 2:  "Lost In A Harem"/"Abbott & Costello In Hollywood" starring Abbott & Costello

Disc 3:  "Air Raid Wardens"/"Nothing But Trouble" starring Laurel & Hardy

It's a great set overall with all 6 movies making their debut on DVD.  But if you don't like those, you can get the individual disc with just the Stooges.  Just thought I'd let you know.   ;)

Nice!  Sounds like a good set.  I haven't seen anything from Laurel and Hardy in a while.  I'll try amazon.  Thanks 'archie.

Y'know, I'm going to have to consider seriously checking out MYRT AND MARGE.

You should, I think it would be apprecaited more if it wasn't so hard to find. It's never
been released on VHS or DVD, and it doesn't play on cable very often. I'm glad I was
able to get a copy for myself.

Like Archiezappa said, Universal owns the movie and it's a shame it hasn't been restored and
released on DVD, perhaps there is some way to pester them enough to finally release it.

Get the set if you want, but as a Laurel and Hardy fan, I gotta say please don't think those two films represent Laurel and Hardy.  Minus the scene with Edgar Kennedy in AIR RAID WARDENS, those films are terrible.

Honestly, I haven't picked up any of those DVD's, but I'll probably get around to The Three Stooges and Abbott and Costello ones only.

Maybe we could pester them enough to get it released.  Hey, the new Stooges sets from Sony are "fan-requested."  I wonder what would be good bonus features for a "Myrt & Marge" DVD release.  Perhaps a Woody Woodpecker cartoon?  I wonder what other Stooge-related films there are from Universal.  I mean besides all the Abbott & Costello films with Shemp Howard and Joe Besser.

Ah, stealin' my idea, eh Shemps Dame?  haha, jk.

Just an FYI:  There's two films (that I know of) that should be taken off of your trade list. Unfortunately, "Hello, Pop" and "Jailbirds of Paradise" have been lost for years.  I believe there's A production still from "Hello, Pop" but other than that, there aren't any remaining negatives or prints from either of these films.  It's believed that the reels either disintegrated due to age, improper care/storage, or were lost in one of a number of studio film library fires.   :(

Brent, feel free to correct me if you have even more info...
