It looks like Amazon.com havent learned from their first mistake. They sold volume 4 for $21.99 and when people complained about it after the release, Amazon reimbused everyone $5 becuase we all assumed the set would be $16.99 like the first 3 volumes. Well, right now volume 5 is sitting on $22.49, they can do it again.

Yikes! I better not cancel my pre-order than.

Well, I didn't say anything about people ignorantly buying this in large numbers.  So I would politely suggest you are not calling me asinine.

What I commented on was that it wasn't a bad marketing strategy for Sony to include Curly's picture prominently.

In reviewing my post I don't believe I called you asinine at all. I said the "thought" or "idea" that people will buy this volume in large numbers out of ignorance was asinine. I never once said "Larry Larry" is asinine, so I suggest you not wear your heart on your sleeve.

If anything the picture of Shemp in a circle separated from the others might draw more attention to him than to Curly upon first glace.

I remember those videos. I had a few of them back in the day. Bringing back memories there... those ones had nice cover art with M/L/S peering out from the side of the wall.

I remember this brings back a lot of memories i only had the one with the pink cover i probably still have it somewhere. I got this when i really young and first found out who the stooges were.

If Sony really wants to target the casual fans, the smartest idea would be to come out with a "Best of" DVD after all the shorts have been released. Some studios do that with some of their shows.

The price is now down to $16.99. I pre-ordered it for $17.49 and there was nothing deducted from my order. This pre-order guarantee is a joke. I might cancel my order. >:(

I wouldn't cancel it.  They'll adjust it.  In fact, I don't think they bill you till it ships anyway.  They've always done right by me.  (and if worse came to worse, it's only $0.50).
These pretzels are making me thirsty!

But what if the prices is higher on the day they ship it? Then I don't get the lowest price after all.

That's the pre-order price guarantee. They'll charge you the lowest price they had it available for pre-order when they charge your card.

Oh I see. Well I'll keep my eye on them.

Anyone seen the back cover yet?  I'm wondering if they screwed up the title of G.I. Wanna Home...again.  I spoke with Mike Schlesinger about this.  I hope they catch it this time around.  See the episode listing below on the "themed" release from 2002.

That's funny. I order my Three Stooges DVD with another DVD so I can get free shipping. Since the stooge DVD is not coming out until March, they both were supposed to ship on March 23rd together. But I just checked my order and they're shipping my other DVD separately right now. Interesting!

It is a little weird, but I have had them do that to me before.  You should still get both of the DVDs with free shipping, even though they are sending them out separately, since your actual order qualified for the free shipping.

Yeah, I still got free shipping. But with free shipping, the deal is to ship both DVDs together when they're available. So, it's funny why all of a sudden they decide to ship them separately at no extra cost.

They're still apart of the same order so whether they ship in the same package or in two packages, you'll only pay one lot of shipping. And since its free shipping you wont pay any shipping.

And you'll get the two packages arriving at your house at the same time, or you should anyway. I've had orders arrive in sperate packages a few times and each time i've tracked the two packages and they arrived, departed from each destination at the same time. And they were "With delivery courier" at the same time.

I just cant wait til March 17th or March is general because we're experiencing a heatwave where i'am. From yesterday to next wednesday we're getting about 4 or 5 consecutive days from 40 to 43 degrees. Its easy to stay warm in the cold but not so easy to stay cool in the heat.

Well if one is shipping now and the other is shipping March 23rd, I doubt they'll arrive at the same time. ;D

Oh. I thought you were getting the Stooges and something else out for release in March.

No, I got this stooge DVD and 24- Season 1 (which was only $19.99, btw). The 24 DVD is shipping now and the stooge DVD hasn't shipped obviously.

nope, not funny at all, they shipped it out now because it is coming from a separate warehouse. So there is no way they could make it wait till the other came out because then they would have send it to the other warehouse before sending it out.

Oh, so that probably explains why they only do that sometimes.

If you're looking for the other Seasons of 24 for only $19.99, Wal-Mart had all but Season 6 for that price.

Can't beat it.

Thanks, but I live in New York and there are no Walmarts here. :(

The 24 DVDs went back up at Amazon to $50. Luckily I grabbed Season 1 when I saw it on sale. If/when I see them on sale again, I'll be sure to grabbed some more.
