"To the best of my knowledge these photos and story never actually appeared in
Life. I've been collecting Stooge-related magazines for almost 30 years and have
amassed about 600 of them. The only Stooge-related Life Magazines that I am
aware of are:
10/18/37 Ted Healy pictured in ad for Bell & Howell
11/28/49 Supporting actress Nita Bieber ("Rhythm &
Weep") pictured on cover
1/31/55 Stooge look-alikes pictured with Spike Jones
Winter '76 Special edition photo obits of Moe & Larry
If anyone can provide specifics of other Stooge-related issues, please let me
