Sam Raimi- created the term "Fake Shemp" for extras and use plenty of classic Stooge gags
in the Evil Dead movies like in Army of Darkness when Ash gets attacked by the skeleton hands
they do the slap and eyepoke stuff. (Including the classic hand block from Ash)
