PBS' Frontline program recently aired an episode about the 2008 election. It was compelling, informative, and as far as I could tell, unbiased. You'll probably learn something along the way.

You can also download it for free on iTunes. That's probably the best way - the quality is about that of a DVD. The file on iTunes was 1.2 GB but only took 10-20 minutes to download.
