Thanks for all of those fantastic clips, Brent!

I posted this same story over at the Stooges Yahoo group, but I figured I might as well here.

How sad it was to read this news this morning. I had the chance to
meet Ms. Adams at the Hollywood Collectors Show back in 2007. I always
knew what an intelligent and talented person she was, and I was
fortunate enough to have the privilege to talk to her for about twenty
minutes. I have always greatly admired stars that could sing, dance,
and had brains too.

We talked about her studies as Julliard, and what it was like to be
married to Ernie Kovacs. She had a large assortment of 8 x 10's for one
to choose from for her to sign. I didn't know which one to pick, so I
asked her to pick her favorite one. She chose a picture of her and
Ernie, who is looking at her ring through a magnifying glass.

(You can see that very 8x10 on the picture that Brent posted; it is right by his hand!)

She personalized the photo for me by signing: "To Mar-Jean...You've got
it all around." I responded to her, saying that she certainly had it
all around more than I. She will be greatly missed!
