Is it any good?

Ocassionally amusing... mostly interesting.  Having Moe, Larry & Curly starring in a feature film is worthwhile, but strangely, they don't play a trio.  It's Curly & Larry, taken in by a good-hearted con man named Shorty (Moe), with only one extended scene that really featues all three working together in typical Stooge-mayhem.

Pilsner Panther would love it.  It costars one of his favorite musical performers of the era... the country/swing/comedy group, The Hoosier Hotshots, featured last year in one of his "Pilsner's Picks" analyses.

Bumping this, as a reminder.  An unusual, rarely shown Three Stooges feature film from 1945.

It's on Starz Family, which is typically available as a subscription channel, not carried by some cable services.  If you don't have access to Starz Family, here's a few days' notice to find someone who does receive it (a relative, or ask around the workplace/classroom), and set the recording timer.

Feb. 2, 4AM EST (US).

Oh, it ain't "Citizen Kane," but you've got the Stooges and the Hot Shots together in one film!

Even Cecil B. DeMille couldn't beat that!
