Question about Valerie Newman(Curly's last wife)

Is she still alive? I though I remembered reading something years ago that stated that she died, but according to the little info provided on IMDB (the comprehensive, but often innacurate online film site) she's alive. It also says that she had a couple of film roles in the 1960's. Is this accurate? Can anyone *cough*BeAStooge*cough* provide any more info info?

Are any of those other chicks he married still alive for that matter?

Valerie died in 1962.

According to Joan's interview with Valerie's sister Natalie, Valerie worked as a hostess and nurse's aide.  Any acting credits listed on Imdb belong to somebody else.
