Mark Evanier of http://www.newsfromme.com/ was quoted today on Eonline News, in an article about film adaptations of superhero characters in DC Comics 'Justice League of America.'

Quote
As movie projects featuring founding members of comic book land's Justice League of America ramp up, the green-skinned detective from our solar system's fourth planet can't get arrested in Hollywood.

Which begs the question: So, um, who's Martian Manhunter?

"The Martian Manhunter is the Shemp of the Justice League," says TV writer-producer and comics guru Mark Evanier.

Okayden ... the writer of that article has bought into the notion that the image of The Three Stooges must ONLY include that of Moe, Larry and Curly. WE of The "Moronic Order of Emptiness" (M.O.E.) know for a fact that da-boys' genesis began with Moe, SHEMP and Larry (and that other guy  with the stage name of Ted Healy).
The tacks won't come out! Well, they went in ... maybe they're income tacks.

You 100% misinterpret.

The E!Online.com author wrote about a DC comic book character, J'onn J'onzz the Martian Manhunter, who has been overlooked in film adaptations.

The E!Online.com author quotes writer Mark Evanier, who ironically makes a JJ analogy to the Stooges... Curly gets all the credit, and Shemp remains the lonely child.

The intent of the E!Online author, Mr. Evanier's quote, and my posting of their comments here says this... Shemp does not get the credit he deserves.

I love that!  [rotfl]

Maybe I should rename the Team Stooge Project to that!   >:D

That's how I took it, too.  One of the things that has fascinated me since I started this site years ago is that there are so many Stooge fans that really appreciate Shemp's genius.
