For you guys interested in seeing more Columbia comedy shorts, here's Stooge director and underrated film comic Charley Chase in THE WRONG MISS WRIGHT.  His style is different than The Stooges, but see if you can find any Columbia touches.

I wouldn't call this one a classic, but it's good.  Charley Chase is always enjoyable to me.

Some of his silents and early talkies are excellent, maybe I'll post some soon.

After rewatching the Keaton, Chase, Shemp, Besser and DeRita solos, one can appreciate how well most of the Stooges shorts were made. I found many of the solos interesting, but paled in comparison to the well timed execution of many of the Stooges' shorts. You get the feeling that (until the slashed budgets and remakes) more care went into their shorts than the others.

I own the Keaton disc set and only two titles merit rewatching IMO!

I found this Charley Chase short some time back on youtube . Seeing that people are getting the non-stooge shorts , now is a good time to post it  .  ;D
