Obviously something different would be done to include all the Bessers in one package I'd think..

Maybe, they might do this:
Vol. 8: 1955-56 (16 shorts)
Vol. 9: 1957-58  (16 shorts)

Sony screwed up one of my favorite shorts, YES WE HAVE NO BONANZA, during the last DVD release.  The sound is restored for about the first five minutes and then it goes flat.  I hope they fix it.

I have seen 35mm source material for the braodcast master of BACK TO THE WOODS.  But when it is for home consumption, they use 16mm.

My guess would be to have the final set larger, and have it from 1955-1958.  This way you'd have Shemp and Joe at once (just in case people wouldn't want just Joe alone in a set).

The Three Stooges Collection Volume Nine: 1958-1959 could include the final 8 shorts with Joe Besser and the feature film "Have Rocket Will Travel," which has not been on DVD before.  Just a thought.

Yeah, I really hope they fix that. On TV and on the previous DVD release, the sound is awful. However, on the VHS release, it sounds fine. I hope Sony is careful with what print they use on that short.

Well, they did fix Three Little Beers on Volume One.  And Disorder In The Court is clearer than I've ever seen it.  I didn't know of any problems with Yes, We Have No Bonanza.  My vhs that I had of it was clear in video and audio.  Hopefully, they'll take care of all of these problems.  I think they weren't really paying any attention to the recent DVD releases.  These new sets will be far superior to all prior releases, that is, if Volume 2 is anything like Volume 1.

Im slow , I Didn't get to see that cover yet . It looks good , I can't wait to get my copy ...
