Loved it!

I have always known who Sid Caesar was, but never saw him in anything but Grease.

I saw an HBO documentary about him and I could not believe the stuff that they were doing in those shows! The writers....so many famous writers, I recall. I can only remember Carl Reiner. Who else, Brent? Anyone?

I liked the drum and bugle corps at the end!!!!! (I have been marching since I was way young!)

Most notably, Mel Brooks and Neil Simon.

A couple years later, when the series became CAESAR'S HOUR, Larry Gelbart joined the writing staff. During its last months on the air, Woody Allen was one of the writers.

Other staffers at various times in the series' run included Selma Diamond, Danny Simon, Mel Tolkin, Sam Denoff and Bill Persky.
