Perhaps the two best remembered lines uttered by supporting players in the shorts are:

"This game, I think she is crook!!"  Bud Jamison in "Whoops! I'm An Indian." (1936)

                                                      and
"Come down outta there, Tar-zin!!!"  Marcia Healy, ( Ted's sister ), in "The Sitter Downers."(1937)

Others, anyone ?

Three Stooges films have some incredibly funny lines that no fan can forget. Here are some more:

From Disorder in the Court:
Moe: "You're in a court, not in Clancy's pool room! (bonk) Sit down!"
Curly: "I'm a victim of soicumstance"
Larry: (slap) "Sit down!"
Moe (to Larry): "Who are you hittin'?"

From Horses' Collars
Curly: "Moe, Larry, the cheese"

From Rockin' Thru the Rockies
Curly: "A lizard, I mean a blizzard"

From Dizzy Detectives
Curly: "It's real. A real chimanypanzee!"
Larry: "That's no chimp, ya chump. That's a gorilla!"

Here are some Supporting Player Lines I think are awesome

"You'll forget all about love when I marry you." Phil Van Zandt to Christine McIntyre in Squareheads of the Round Table

"This house has sure gone crazy!" Dudley Dickerson in A Plumbing We Will Go

"How dare you look like someone I hate! *SLAP!*" Connie Cezan to Larry in Tricky Dicks

and of course the legendary...

"Hold hands, you lovebirds!" Emil Sitka in Brideless Groom
"Moronica must expand! We must lend our neighbors a helping hand. We must lend them two helping hands, and help ourselves to our neighbors!"
Moe in "You Natzi Spy!"

Larry: Say, when I come back I’ll give you a password.
Moe: Brilliant, what’ll it be?
Larry: Open The Door!

Great choices, Justin T !!!  I must be an imbecile to have forgotten about both Dudley Dickerson's "This house has sho' gone crazy!!" and Emil Sitka's "Hold hands, you lovebirds !!!"  But, that is the great thing about the shorts. There is such a wealth of material that one can't remember everything in one breath. Another favorite line of mine by a supporting player is,..."HEY !!! DROP THOSE DUCKS!!!" (Richard Fiske in "Boobs In Arms." (1940) ) Sadly, Fiske was KIA in WW2 in France in 1944.

Ok, all you "knuckleheads" out there, let's keep this thread going !!! Support the supporting players by remembering their lines !!  :D

...."You know, I've a feeling I'm going to fall for you." (Vernon Dent to Larry {in drag as Moronica}), "Higher Than A Kite", 1943)

Also, a classic line from PAIN IN THE PULLMAN, said by Paul Pain (James Morton?), "JOHNSONNNNNNN!!!!" and then Johnson (Bud Jamison) bumps his head on the top bunk. ROFL!

Offline Double Deal Decker

Yeah,..."His,..I'm Paul Pain, the 'hearthrob' of millions!" , led Larry to ask, "What's a 'hearthrob' "? Curly then replied,..."A pain in the neck !!"  :D

One of my favorites is in "From Nurse to Worse" when Vernon Dent as Dr. D. Lirious tell the hospital staff to take Curly to the operating room and "prepare him for cerebrial decapitation".

Also, in Half-Wits Holiday, it either was Vernon Dent as Prof. Quackenbush or Ted Lorch as Prof. Sedletz (offhand I don't recall) that stated, "There is definite evidence of vacancy of the cranium."
