Maybe it's just me, but this song is magnificent. It's been awhile since I heard it, but it was featured in a movie I recently saw, and I was reminded of its greatness. It was written by David Bowie, which is pretty evident if you're familiar with Bowie's stuff of the time (early 70s).

The movie it was in, btw, was "Juno" - which is easily recommendable. Some of the crowd, shockingly, included senior citizens... who probably almost died when the opening scene had two teens undressing for sex in a chair.

Not my favorite Mott song, but still a pretty good one. Ian Hunter was one of those guys who didn't have a great voice, but still made a fantastic lead singer and frontman....and he definitely looked like a rock star.

Hey, just listened to a couple of tracks off Mott The hoople's greatest hits album a couple of hours before typing this.  Cool band, as I'm starting to appreciate the 70's "glam rock" era in Britain more the older I get....and this gives me an idea for a regular feature where I can share music.
