Soupy Sales ... I love dat guy!! Da kid breaks me up!!

BTW ... when Moe asks Maha "what do you do", look up at the top of the video frame and you'll see a boom mike. It remains there until Moe stands up and talks to Soupy. (actually .. the boom mike appears several times  on-and-off throughout the skit, so look for it)

Moe ... whada guy! ... ("looks like more than one 'soft grenade'" ... nyuk, nyuk, nyuk)
The tacks won't come out! Well, they went in ... maybe they're income tacks.

Is there a live version featuring Shemp? Has it surfaced anywhere?

Shemp died in 1955. Moe appeared on the Mike Douglas show in the early 1970's.

I think he meant is there a live appearance of the Boys performing the Maha routine with Shemp.

I don't know if they ever did or not myself..

Moe, Larry & Shemp performed "The Maharajah" on the October 10, 1950 TEXACO STAR THEATRE. Unknown whether a kinescope exists; most TEXACO episodes did not survive NBC's early, haphazard archival practices.

If they ever found Shemp's version, it would be a gem. I'm sure it would be the best one!
