Topic: Stooge goof in A Pain in the Pullman

Well, thanks to the impeccable clarity of the new DVD set, I found a goof.

The first time Joe the monkey snatches the toupee from Paul Pain's head, you can see a wire help in the process during the close-up. I've seen this film countless times, and never noticed the wire until now. I'll add it to the Goofs page once someone else confirms it.

Actually, I noticed wires in several shots on many of the shorts. The improved picture clarity does make them stand out sometimes. That just adds to the hilarity for me though, such as when it's obvious that it's a stunt double, or a dummy during long falls.

In the new print of Three Little Beers I noticed a wire lifting Moe up to balance on top of the beer barrel. In all the 100s of times I've seen that short, I didn't notice it until the other day.
