I was thinking the same thing myself.  Love to know where they're all coming from.

Thats what id like to know, between these and the footage of Moe and Shemp on
Coney Island there are some cool stuff showing up, wonder where they are
getting this stuff from myself.

Where can I get the "Little Rascals" style background music? I'm currently transferring our family's silent 16mm, 8mm, etc. to DVD's.

Here's a good record to start with:

Beau Hunks Play Original Rascals Music

Personally, and highly recommended by ME!

Yeah, the album Thump directed to you is excellent. It's not just Rascals music, that was general music Hal Roach Studios used in most of their shorts (sometimes the features, too). I recognized it from Laurel & Hardy myself.

The Beau Hunks Orchestra is one of the best in the world when it comes to re-creating the sounds from yesteryear.

I have that CD as well. It's amazing. The Beau Hunks recreate all of those wonderful Rascals and Laurel and Hardy "background" music note for note using AUTHENTIC instruments from that time period.

I thought I was the only one who ever heard of that CD! Glad to know that great minds think alike on this site--yikes--that's scary!!

OK. Anyone have it cheaper than $64 used?

I too highly recommend this cd. I have the 2 disc set (the other is called ON TO THE SHOW). I think I paid about $29 brand new maybe 10-12 years ago? It's a lot of fun.

Jrvass..I saw on itunes where they had a beau hunks listing...not for the Little Rascals CD, but some Laurel and Hardy music from a few of their features...it does NOT have many of the same tracks as the Rascals disc, which is far superior content wise. Let me know if you want a CD sent to you (and/or check out the itunes track choices).
