Charles Lane passed away Monday night at age 102...

Mr. Lane has several Stooge-related films to his credit...
 - He worked with Ted Healy in THE BAND PLAYS ON (1934) and HERE COMES THE BAND (1935).
 - By way of stock footage from Warner Bros.' 42nd STREET, Lane can briefly be seen as an audience member in Shemp's solo Vitaphone, SMOKED HAMS (1934). Both he and Shemp were in the supporting casts of these Universal features, THE LEATHERPUSHERS (1940), THE INVISIBLE WOMAN (1940) and APPOINTMENT FOR LOVE (1941).
 - And, he was in IT'S A MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD WORLD (1963), as the airport manager.
