The first '59 Fleer set I bought cost me $200.  That was back in the early 1980s.  I never thought I'd sell it, but then again, if someone wants to offer me $7,000......

It's funny that some of the stuff I bought back then is actually now worth less than I paid for it.  Some of those boxed 8mm films that cost me $25 often go for less than that on Ebay.

I've noticed a recent spike in the results for these... Usually I see them on Ebay for about 1000 - 1500 range. Maybe there was something exceptional to this particular collection of cards???
